Print Handling Guide
Giclée Print Handling Guide
Giclée prints are high-quality, archival artworks. To ensure their long-term beauty and preservation, please follow these essential handling guidelines:
-
Avoid touching the print surface. Natural oils from the skin, lotions, or dirt can leave smudges that are difficult to remove. Always hold the print by its edges or by the mat board.
-
Keep out of direct sunlight. Do not expose the print to direct sunlight or strong UV radiation. Although the inks are of archival quality, prolonged exposure to intense light can cause fading over time.
-
Protect from moisture. Do not display the print in high-humidity areas, such as bathrooms. Moisture can cause the paper to warp or the ink to run.
-
Do not wipe with a wet cloth. Never clean the surface of the print with a damp cloth, water, or any cleaning agents. This can cause permanent damage.
-
Dusting. To remove dust, use a soft, dry brush or a can of compressed air
Important Hanging Instructions for Your Prints: -
For stability and safety, please do not connect the two hangers with a wire or string when hanging your print.
Each hanger must be mounted to the wall individually and directly. This method ensures the print hangs securely and minimizes the risk of it falling and being damaged.
-
Please be advised that due to the nature of the natural materials used in our giclée printing process, along with the inherent technical limitations of digital printing, we cannot be held responsible for image variations or missing pixels of up to 2 pixels per square meter (m²).
