Silk Baryta

Silk Baryta is a premium quality 100% alpha cellulose photo paper. The base paper is made by the German company Hahnemühle and is made from acid-free and lignin-purified fibres. The barite-coated paper is identical to the old papers used for hand enlargements. This makes traditional photo paper suitable for digital printing.

The beautiful white tone of the paper and the semi-matte, gloss-free surface give the paper just enough gloss to properly reproduce the contrast and vividness of the colours in a digital photo. Pigment ink printing resists the UV content of natural light, preserving prints for generations without fading.
